Periodo di festa a Cagliari, manca poco a Natale e i preparativi per la
fantastica notte del 31, San Silvestro, fervono!
Cagliari's holiday period, it is almost Christmas and the preparations for the
fantastic night of 31st, Eve, in full swing!
Via Roma, l'arteria stradale principale ma anche il "salotto cagliaritano"
è colorata dalle luci delle bancarelle. Oggetti, giocattoli, cibi tipici da tutta
Italia e giostre invadono l'area in mezzo alla grande via.
Le caratteristiche luminarie addobbano via Sonnino, le vie dei negozi come
Corso Vittorio Emanuele, via Manno, via Garibaldi, via Dante.
Il 31 nei quartieri storici come Marina, Stampace, Castello nelle numerose
piazzette si esibiranno artisti di strada, musicisti, comici accompagnandoci
sino alla mezzanotte. Saluteremmo il primo giorno del 2012 con i caratteristici
fuochi sparati dal Porto di Cagliari verso il cielo.
E' festa e, seppur in periodo di ristrettezze economiche, la città ha indossato
il suo abito più sgargiante accogliendo le migliaia di turisti che stanno accorrendo
per godere di una temperatura non propriamente natalizia ma che
è un autentico toccasana per chi viene dalle regioni del nord.
Temperature massime tra i 19 e i 23 gradi.
Si sà questo è il Natale Mediterraneo!

Via Roma, the main road but also the "living room of Cagliari"
is colored by the lights of the stalls. Shops, toys, typical foods from all

Cagliari's Festa Grande, even in times of economic hardship, the city has worn
his flamboyant dress more welcoming thousands of tourists who are rushing
to enjoy a mild temperature (not exactly Christmas)
that is a real blessing for those coming from the north.
