Approda anche a Cagliari il Festival Internazionale della Marineria alla terza

edizione dopo Civitavecchia 2009 e Taranto 2010.

Here it is the third International Festival of Maritime

after the 2009's Civitavecchia and 2010's Taranto editions.

Il festival sarà diviso in sezioni:

- Le dive del Mare: Grandi barche a vela provenienti da tutto 

il mondo tra le quali anche navi oceanografiche.

- I bolidi dell'acqua: Campionato mondiale di Formula 2 con 18 

nazioni rappresentate da 25 equipaggi. Trasmissione in diretta su RAI 2.

- Nuove tecnologie legate al Mare: Tutela e salvaguardia dell'ambiente 

marino, tecnologia al servizio di questo irrinunciabile valore. 

Presentazione e premiazione.

- Raduno internazionale Idrovolanti: nei giorni del festival idrovolanti 

da tutto il mondo.

- Promozione della Sardegna e di Cagliari: seminari, musica nelle piazze 

dei quartieri storici, apertura dei palazzi storici, notte bianca con i negozi 

del centro aperti sino la mezzanotte. 

La possibilità quindi di vivere il mare nel panoramico porto di Cagliari 

godendo di mostre fotografiche, rassegna di modellismo navale, kite, wind 

e surf, moto d'acqua, concerti gratuiti, il mondo subacqueo e i 

palombari e...fuochi d'artificio.

MYTHS OF THE SEA

Here it is the third International Festival of Maritime

after the 2009's Civitavecchia and 2010's Taranto editions.

The festival will be divided into sections:

- The stars of the Sea: Great sailboats from around the world 

including also research vessels.

- The motor boat race: Formula 2 World Championship with 

25 teams from 18 nations. Live broadcast on RAI 2.

- New technologies related to the Sea: Protection and preservation 

of the marine environment, technology at the service of this 

essential value. Presentation and prize giving.

- International Meeting of hydroplanes: seaplanes show during 

the festival from all over the world.

- Promotion of Sardinia and Cagliari: seminars, music in the squares 

of the historic centre, historic buildings open at night with shops 

open until midnight.

Therefore the possibility of experiencing the sea in the scenic 

port of Cagliari enjoying photographic exhibitions, an exhibition 

of ship models, kites, and wind surfing, jet skiing, free concerts, the 

divers and the underwater world and ... fireworks.

The Feast of the Sea in the city at the geographic center of 

the Mediterranean.
